I am currently an Assistant Professor of Mathematics at Randolph College in Lynchburg, Virginia. Please check-out the navigation to the left to learn about my teaching and research interests. In addition to my life in academia, I have a wonderful family and several outside interests.

Family:

Climbing:

I have been rock climbing for fourteen years climbing up to 5.14c (8c+) sport climbs and V12 (8A+) boulders. I have travelled and climbed around the US as well as to France, Spain, and Thailand. My favorite sport climbing area is Rifle Mountain Park in Western Colorado and my favorite bouldering area is Hueco Tanks near El Paso, Texas.

Bread and Pizza making:

I enjoy cooking of all kinds and am especially interested in baking naturally leavened (sourdough) bread and pizza.
